Republicans for Liberty was founded in response to a hard truth: in 2025, the Virginia Republican Party was crushed by Democrats at every level of the ballot. Democrats won a trifecta — the State House, State Senate, and the Executive Branch — leaving liberty-minded conservatives across the Commonwealth without effective representation.
That failure made one thing clear.
Central Virginia needs an organization focused on winning with principled, liberty-minded candidates rather than protecting insider interests or relying on the same failed approaches.
We exist to fill that gap in Lynchburg and across central Virginia. We take a policy-first approach, not personality-driven politics. Our mission is to help elect local and state officials who oppose tax-and-spend policies and defend the liberty of individuals, families, and businesses in our communities. We stand for more freedom and less government, with a clear commitment to protecting our God-given constitutional liberties.
